Full body MRI provides a radiation-free and detailed view of the body’s major organs and tissues. The examination can detect changes early, before symptoms appear, and complements the blood analysis with a physical image of your body.

What is full body MRI?

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is one of the most advanced tools in modern medicine and a technical marvel. Using powerful magnets and precise radio waves, clear three-dimensional images of the body are created – completely without radiation.

Thanks to major advances in imaging technology, full body MRI has recently become efficient enough to be used outside of research, making it possible to detect abnormalities and diseases early, before symptoms appear.

At Elfcare, we offer full body MRI covering all major organs, including the brain, as part of our comprehensive health assessment. The examination takes about an hour and is carried out in collaboration with leading hospitals and diagnostic partners.

  • The clinic is located in Hyllie, just a 3–5 minute walk from Hyllie train station.

    You can easily take the train from Malmö Central Station, which takes around 5 minutes, or from Copenhagen, which takes approximately 20 minutes. From the station, simply walk towards Hyllie Boulevard — the clinic is located nearby.

    You will receive directions after booking and you can always contact your dedicated Elfcare doctors if you cannot find the location.

  • We work with leading MRI providers using modern, high-resolution MRI systems suitable for full-body imaging. In Malmö specifically, we offer a 1.5T (1.5 Tesla) MRI scan.

  • No, we currently do not offer an AMRA scan as part of our MRI in Malmö.

    AMRA is an advanced analysis that provides detailed insights into body composition.

  • No, you do not need to be Swedish nor have a Swedish personal number or BankID to get our full body MRI.

    Elfcare is open to both Swedish and international patients. As long as you can travel to our MRI location in Malmö, you are welcome to book an assessment with us, and we have - for example - welcomed many Danish customers to our Malmö and Lund locations.

    All doctor consultations are conducted digitally, and we can support you in English throughout the entire process — from booking to results and follow-up.
